Startup Visa e Startup Voucher

Even before this Covid-19 crisis, Startup Portugal, the vehicle chosen by the Portuguese Government to promote Portugal as a startup hub, has been actively promoting programs that target entrepreneurs. Two of these programs are: Startup Visa and Startup Voucher.
Startup Visa is a program focus on non-european entrepreneurs who intends to create any kind of startup in Europe with a view of granting a Schengen- residency permit.

Startup Voucher intends to boost startup projects which are still in the infancy stage (idea) promoted by people between 18 and 35 years of age, either with Portuguese nationality or with a residency permit. The program also provides mentoring and awards those that will move to set up the company. The next submission period is until July 26, 2020 (3rd cut-off) and November 26, 2020 (4th cut-off).
