EIC ACCELERATOR

The EIC Accelerator pilot, part of Horizon 2020,  was created to target innovators with ground-breaking concepts that could shape new markets or disrupt existing ones in Europe and worldwide. This time around includes MVP development, prototyping,  testing in real-world conditions  and of course market validation.

Funding wise, it covers not only grants (funding rate 70%) of between €0.5 million and €2.5 million but also offers a blended option (combining grant and equity) to SMEs in need of one last push before the scaling-up phase (limited to €2.5 million combined with an equity component of up to €15 million).
