VI Open Call for Deep Tech Startups

The VI Open Call for Deep Tech Startups is now open, as part of Transfiere 2026, one of Europe’s leading forums for knowledge and technology transfer, taking place from 24 to 26 February 2026, in Málaga.

This initiative is aimed at Deep Tech startups seeking investment and wishing to increase their international visibility among investors and industry experts.

Main benefits:

• On-site pitch session before international investors and decision-makers;
• Networking with companies, researchers, public entities and industry players;
• B2B matchmaking with access to the official event schedule (possibility to request 30+ meetings);
• Visibility through Transfiere’s communication channels;
• Participation in the Meet & Greet – Investor Ecosystem Networking (cocktail format);
• Possibility of being selected as the winning Startup (prize of €1,000 + visibility package + participation in 2027).

Who can apply:
Startups that meet all of the following criteria:

• Incorporated up to 7 years ago (as of 1 January 2026);
• Currently seeking investment;
• Application form correctly completed;
• Have not been awarded in previous editions;
• Headquartered in one of the eligible countries (Portugal included).

Only 5 startups will be selected for the in-person pitch, but all eligible submitted startups will receive an access pass to the event.
