Push4Tourism: Open innovation to transform tourism distribution
Applications are now open for push4tourism, an open innovation programme promoted by GesEntrepreneur, with the support of Turismo de Portugal, under the FIT 2.0 – Fostering Innovation in Tourism Programme.
This is the first programme in Portugal fully dedicated to the tourism distribution sector, developed in partnership with APAVT – the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, strengthening the connection between innovation and real market needs.
A programme focused on real tourism challenges
Push4Tourism is looking for innovative, market-ready solutions that address five key strategic challenges in the tourism sector:
- Customer experience and personalisation
- Booking management and CRM
- Sustainability of tourism businesses and destinations
- Artificial intelligence and data management
- Automation of billing and payment processes
The programme’s goal is to connect startups and tourism operators, enabling real-world testing, solution validation and the creation of high-impact partnerships that strengthen the sector’s competitiveness.
Who is it for?
The programme is aimed at two main profiles:
- Startups with technological solutions or innovative business models that respond to the identified challenges;
- Travel agencies and tour operators interested in taking part in a collaborative innovation process, testing new solutions and rethinking their processes with expert support.
This collaborative approach helps reduce risk, accelerate innovation and generate value for both technology providers and market players.
