PRR Internationalization via E-Commerce – applications still open!
Under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), on August 24, it was published the opening of the call for non-refundable grants for projects that fall under the “Internationalization via e-commerce” measure. This measure aims to boost online exports of products and services, granting support to individual SME projects.
With a total allocation of 23 million euros, the aim is to implement digital internationalization strategies based on the implementation of technology and processes associated with digital technology to adjust international business models that change the relationship between the various actors in the chains, including customers.
Projects must promote a direct presence of SMEs in online channels, namely the creation of own stores and/or adhesion to marketplaces, as well as the development of online promotion campaigns.
The contest is open to the entire national territory and will continue with open applications until the limit of the budget allocation, with support covering 50% of eligible expenses. The measure is divided into two types:
- New Exporters (SMEs starting their internationalization through digital channels): eligible expenses between 10,000 € and 25,000 €;
- More Markets (market diversification for SMEs that already have consolidated international experience through digital channels): eligible expenses between €25,000 and €85,000.
