Women TechEU – €75,000 for Women Leading Deep Tech Startups
Women TechEU is an initiative funded by the European Union aimed at supporting deep tech startups led by women, promoting a more gender-balanced entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program offers €75,000 in funding (with no equity stake) and a customized business development program, including mentorship, coaching, and training in strategic areas.
Who can apply?
Women TechEU is designed for early-stage deep tech startups founded or co-founded by women who hold top management positions (CEO, CTO, or equivalent). Applicants must own at least 25% of the company’s shares at the time of application submission. The company must be registered and established in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe for at least six months prior to the submission deadline and be no more than eight years old.
How can the €75,000 be used?
Beneficiaries can allocate the funds according to their specific business needs, aiming to accelerate the development, growth, and sustainability of the company. Eligible activities include:
- Business model updates
- Consolidation of business plans and growth strategies
- Business model validation
- Financial plan updates
- Certifications
- Intellectual property strategy and freedom to operate
- Commercial plan
- Market analysis
- Customer validation and technical/clinical evaluation
- Search for partners and investors
