Grow with Tourism Program

Turismo de Portugal has recently launched the “Crescer com o Turismo” program, with an initial allocation of €30 million, replacing the previous Linha +Interior Turismo. This new initiative aims to promote sustainable development in the country’s interior regions by enhancing tourist attractiveness and stimulating the local economy.

Key Program Features:

• Funding: Equally divided between non-repayable grants and repayable loans.
• Beneficiaries: Public entities, associations, non-profit private organizations, and small to medium-sized enterprises involved in strategic projects.
• Intervention Areas:
  • Enhancement of historical and cultural heritage
  • Promotion of sustainability
  • Urban regeneration
  • Community tourism initiatives

This initiative reinforces the government’s commitment to making tourism a driver of balanced and sustainable development, fostering territorial competitiveness and social cohesion. Applications are open until December 31, 2026, or until the budget is exhausted.
